Decatur, Illinois – September 27, 2023 – On Saturday evening, September 23rd, Neuhoff Media Decatur proudly attended the much-anticipated “Farm to Fund” fundraiser to benefit the Northeast Community Fun. The event was a resounding success, drawing a sold-out crowd of 300 attendees to the heart of Downtown Decatur on Merchant Street.
The Northeast Community Fund has long been a pillar of support for individuals and families facing tough times in the Decatur community. Their mission is to provide essential resources and a helping hand to those in need, and events like Farm to Fund play a crucial role in raising the funds necessary to continue their impactful work.
Neuhoff Media Decatur, including stations WSOY (WSOY-AM), 95Q (WDZQ-FM), Y103 (WSOY-FM), HOT 105.5 (WCZQ-FM), and FOX Sports 1050 (WDZ-AM), was a proud sponsor of the event, demonstrating their commitment to giving back to the community they serve.
Among the attendees were Neuhoff Media Decatur General Manager Kathy Byerly, as well as Account Executives Emily Phillips and Cassady Stevents. Dominique Smith, another member of the Neuhoff Media team, volunteered as a server at the event, showing their dedication to the cause.
Adding to the evening’s charm and appeal, Richland Community College’s Culinary Arts program provided a delightful farm-to-table dining experience that left attendees raving. The mouthwatering recipes prepared by the culinary students were a highlight of the evening along with both silent and live auctions with a wide array of items up for bidding. These auctions were instrumental in generating funds that will go directly to the Northeast Community Fund, enabling them to continue making a positive impact on countless lives in the Decatur area.
