
Springfield School District 186 in conjunction with Neuhoff Media Springfield and 96.7 BOB-FM present the “Radio Read Out Loud Program.” District 186’s Early Learning Center and teachers from grades 2-5 read to their students every weekday morning, 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m. on 96.7 BOB-FM.
Each teacher selects the books and stories they read. The first 15 minutes (11:30-11:45 a.m.) is geared toward Pre-K thru 2nd graders and the second 15 minutes (11:45 a.m.-12 p.m.) is geared toward grades 3-5.

A number of District 186 Pre-K to Grade 5 teachers and reading specialists, as well as, volunteers from the Rotary Club are reading on-air. The community partnership is an extension of remote learning and student and family engagement efforts.
This is a great learning opportunity for children in the BOB-FM listening area, regardless of where they attend school.
