Neuhoff Media Lafayette Raises Over $86,000 for Riley
Neuhoff Media Lafayette radio stations WASK, K-105 (WKOA-FM), and B102-9 (WXXB-FM) came together for their annual two-day, 18-hour radiothon to benefit the Riley Children’s Foundation.
The Neuhoff Media Lafayette Riley Radiothon simulcasted on the three stations on Thursday, January 14th from 12pm to 6pm and Friday, January 15th from 6am from 6pm. In the past the three stations broadcasted from the Tippecanoe Mall. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the stations broadcasted from their studios in order to keep the public and station personnel safe.
Despite the hardships the pandemic brought upon the community, this year’s radiothon raised $86,525 for the Riley Children’s Foundation. Amber Miller, Associations and Radiothon Coordinator with Riley Children’s Foundation, said, “I am so blessed and thankful to work with your amazing team. Thank you for making my job fun and meaningful.”
This is the fourth year the three radio stations have collaborated for this event.
