Steve Brandy Takes the Stage as Emcee for the Greater Illiana Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

On Saturday, June 24th, the Ura Seeger Memorial Auditorium at Seeger Junior/Senior High School in West Lebanon, Indiana, came alive with the spirit of athletic achievement as Neuhoff Media Danville’s Steve Brandy took the reins as the emcee for the Second Annual Greater Illiana Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This event serves as a platform to honor outstanding athletes, student athletes, teams, coaches, and athletic contributors from the East-Central Illinois and West-Central Indiana regions.

Established in January 2020, the Greater Illiana Sports Hall of Fame was founded to recognize and celebrate the athletic achievements of teams, media personnel, officials, legends, coaches, and athletes hailing from over 50 high schools within the Illiana area.

Steve Brandy stepped into his role as the event’s emcee for the first time. Previously Neuhoff Media CEO, Mike Hulvey, hosted the event. Brandy expressed his delight at being invited to take on the role, saying, “I was thrilled that Coach John Spezia and Joe Dunagan invited me this year, upon Mike’s recommendation.”
