Springfield, Illinois – On Thursday, July 13, 2023, Erin’s Pavilion in Springfield was abuzz with excitement as the 2023 Athena Leadership Awards took center stage. Organized by Illinois Women in Leadership (IWIL), the event showcased exceptional women, and Neuhoff Media Springfield was proud to be a media sponsor of the event.
Among the guests in attendance were Neuhoff Media Springfield Sales Manager Diane Williams, Account Executive Angie Howe, and Kaiti B from 99-7 The MIX.
The Athena Awards Banquet featured ten nominees who were all recognized for their professional excellence, dedication to community service, and their efforts to actively assist other women in their pursuit of professional and leadership experience. The winner of the prestigious award was Wendi Willis El-Amin M.D., from the SIU School of Medicine who expressed her gratitude and enthusiasm for the opportunity to support individuals on their health and career journeys.
