Springfield, IL – Neuhoff Media’s Sports Radio 1450AM/92.3FM’s morning show “AM Springfield” made the most of Republican Day of the Illinois State Fair. Several GOP leaders visited the gazebo to chat with AM Springfield host, Sam Madonia, including incoming Sangamon County Circuit Clerk Joe Roesch, Illinois Supreme Court Justice Lisa Holder White, Senate Minority Leader John Curran, House Minority Leader Tony McCombie and State Rep. Mike Coffey Jr.
Roesch discussed what led him to run for the Sangamon County Circuit Clerk office and what he plans to do between now and when he takes office on October 1, 2023.
Holder White talked about her first year on the state’s high court and how her parents influenced her to become a lawyer.
Curran talked about the General Assembly, the Republican party and growing up in Evergreen Park.
McCombie discussed the Republican party’s obstacles with a Democratic supermajority during her visit at the Gazebo.
Coffey Jr. chats about being a freshman lawmaker and sending his daughter off to college.
