Danville, Illinois – September 15, 2023 – The 4th annual Neuhoff Media/United Way Radiothon marked a resounding success as the Danville community came together to raise a grand total of $77,388.38 for 25 local programs supported by United Way dollars. The event, held on Friday, September 15, 2023, featured live broadcasts from Temple Plaza in Downtown Danville and garnered support from residents and local businesses throughout the day.
During the raadiothon listeners and attendees at Temple Plaza had the opportunity to hear from representatives of the 20 local agencies that collectively manage the 25 essential programs benefiting from United Way funding. These agencies provide vital services to the community, from education and healthcare to housing and food assistance.
To encourage donations, a range of convenient options were made available, including texting “GIVEUNITED” to 26989, donating online at, or visiting the live broadcast at Temple Plaza.
Neuhoff Media stations D102 (WDNL-FM), 94.9 K-ROCK (WRHK-FM), and 1490 WDAN (WDAN-AM) broadcasted from the event, and Neuhoff Media personalities were there too including Tommy B, Tonya Salomon, and Garrett Fields. Neuhoff Media CEO, Mike Hulvey, also attended the event.
