On October 5th, Venue Chisca in Peoria hosted the Wine, Women, & Shoes event, a new fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois. Attendees from across the region enjoyed fashion, wine, and entertainment, all with the aim of supporting this great cause.

The event featured jewelry and fashion vendors, wine tastings, and local restaurant hors d’oeuvres. A live fashion show showcased the latest trends, while silent and live auctions raised funds for the charity.

Neuhfof Media Decatur and Y103’s Shyler attended the event.  Other notables who attended included Debbie Bogle of the United Way Decatur and Peoria Mayor Rita Ali.

Amber Kaylor, CEO of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois, expressed her gratitude, saying, “Our inaugural Wine, Women, and Shoes event was a tremendous success! We are so thankful for everyone who joined us. Events like these help us provide a supportive place for families to stay while their child is receiving medical care.”

The event raised over $140,000, a significant contribution to the charity’s mission of assisting families during challenging times. The success of the event highlighted the Central Illinois community’s commitment to making a positive impact on those in need.
