On Thursday, January 18, 2024, the Decatur Indoor Sports Center over 500 community members came together to celebrate for the Decatur Park District’s 100th Anniversary Community Breakfast. Founded in 1924, the Decatur Park District has been an integral part of the community’s history, and this centennial milestone marked a poignant moment in its legacy. The Community Breakfast showcased historical displays that reflected the Park District’s rich journey over the past century and provided a preview of the exciting happenings planned for the year.
Neuhoff Media’s Byers & Co broadcasted live from the breakfast, which added an extra layer of excitement for attendees and shared the festivities with community members not in attendance.
