Neuhoff Media Lafayette, in collaboration with Primient, honored the outstanding achievements of three local schools who participated in the Classroom Superstars program on February 1, 2024. The presentation recognized the remarkable fundraising efforts of Dayton Elementary School, East Tipp Middle School, and Central Catholic High School. These exemplary schools were named recipients of the “Golden Spork Award” for their exceptional contributions to the Classroom Superstars initiative. Each school received a generous $1,000 donation from Primient in recognition of their outstanding fundraising efforts for Food Finders Food Bank.
Throughout the fall of 2023, 13 area schools participated in Classroom Superstars, raising nearly 35,000 meals for individuals and families in need within the community. The top-performing schools during Neuhoff Media Lafayette’s Feed The Need Day on November 22, 2023.
Mike Shamus, General Manager of Neuhoff Media Lafayette, commended the students for their commitment to making a positive impact in the community. He remarked, “It’s a great way for students to get involved and do some good for our community.”
The collaborative efforts between Neuhoff Media Lafayette, Primient, and the participating schools exemplify the power of community engagement and philanthropy in creating a brighter future for all.
