July 21, 2021 – Neuhoff Extends Partnership with Learfield IMG College and University of Illinois Athletics

Danville, IL – Fighting Illini Football and Men’s Basketball games will remain on familiar radio stations across Central Illinois for the next five-years. Neuhoff Communications which own and operate radio stations in Bloomington, Danville, Decatur, and Springfield have announced a new five-year broadcast and marketing agreement with Learfield IMG College and the University of Illinois. The agreement extends a partnership that includes seven radio stations, ten broadcast frequencies and websites across the center of the state.

“Our long-time relationship with Neuhoff Media and their multiple stations on the Fighting Illini Sports Network, which is coordinated by Learfield IMG College, helps provide Fighting Illini radio coverage throughout Central Illinois,” said University of Illinois Director of Athletics Josh Whitman. “The Neuhoff stations in the cities of Danville, Decatur, Springfield and Bloomington-Normal cover hundreds of thousands of passionate Illini fans and do a terrific job of providing coverage.”

Neuhoff Media will present a complete schedule of up to 40 LIVE Fighting Illini event broadcasts. These will include Bret Bielema’s football program which begins play on August 28^th at Memorial Stadium against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Brad Underwood’s men’s basketball team begin play in November, both coaches will have a weekly radio program that will also air across the Illini Sports Network.
