Update: Over $55,000 was raised and over 600 pounds of food collected for the Midwest Food Bank.

On Friday, August 23, the Tentac Gives Golf Outing took place at The Den at Fox Creek in Bloomington, Illinois, bringing together golf enthusiasts for a day of fun and philanthropy. The event, which benefits The Midwest Food Bank, saw an impressive turnout and significant contributions.

Neuhoff Media Bloomington stations ROCK 96.7 (WIHN-FM), NOW 100.7 (WWHX-FM), and 97.9 BOB FM (WBBE-FM) served as the media sponsors for the outing. The event attracted 140 golfers who collectively raised over $45,000 for The Midwest Food Bank.

In addition to providing music and a PA system, Neuhoff Media also organized a game for the golfers, which raised an additional $500 for the cause.  The funds raised will go a long way in helping The Midwest Food Bank continue its mission of providing food and disaster relief to those in need. The Tentac Gives Golf Outing stands as a testament to the power of community and the impact of collective efforts in making a difference.
