Springfield, IL June 10, 2023 – 104.5 WFMB and 99-7 The MIX teamed up with the Roughnecks Motorcycle Club on June 10,2023 for the 2023 St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Ride. This year’s ride raised $20,200 for St. Jude. Bikes, Jeeps, and cars are all welcome to join the ride for an entry cost of $20 per vehicle.
104.5 WFMB Program Director Josh Roberts says the amount of people who came out to support St. Jude and the ride are what make this event successful year after year:
“It was a beautiful day for the ride and great to see everyone riding for such a great cause, thanks to everyone involved.”
The ride ended with an after party at the Curve Inn, with live music and an auction. In the 11 years since the Roughnecks started their Ride For St. Jude, this event has raised over $200,000.
