Danville, IL – June 19, 2023 – Neuhoff Media is pleased to announce the commencement of the highly anticipated 2023 Sports Media Camp for Kids, starting on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Danville Area Community College. This week-long camp offers young aspiring media members a unique opportunity to learn from professionals in the sports media industry.
The Sports Media Camp for Kids provides participants with exposure to various aspects of sports broadcasting including play-by-play commentary, writing, video production, podcasting, hosting, social media management, and post-game analysis. This comprehensive experience equips young enthusiasts with the necessary skills to succeed in the field.
This year’s guest speakers include Darrin Brown of the Big Ten Network, Laura Hensgen of Danville Area Community College TV, Ari Temkin of the Chicago Bears Network, Luke Steiner from Ohio University, Zack Galia of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and Jared Jesulaitis of Neuhoff Media’s 101.7 The Hammer. These professionals will share their knowledge and experiences, inspiring the next generation of sports media professionals.
The Sports Media Camp for Kids is the passion project of Neuhoff Media CEO, Mike Hulvey. Hulvey aims to nurture young talent and support aspiring professionals through this transformative platform.
