On Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 6 a.m, to 9 a.m., the airwaves resonated with compassion as Sports Radio 92.3 FM/1450 AM’s AM Springfield hosted a heartfelt Radiothon at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at Iles and Meadowbrook Road. Led by Sam Madonia and the Crew of AM Springfield, the event aimed to raise funds for the St. Martin de Porres Center.
The Radiothon proved to be a resounding success, with the community rallying together to contribute in person and over the phone. Over $30,000 was raised during the three-hour event. These funds will help St. Martin de Porres continue to provide food and clothing to individuals and families in the community who are facing hardships.
